Social Block

Each social media option has a recommended location.

Place a Pinterest Follow button with your X (formerly Twitter) Follow button, somewhere obvious. Above the sharing bar (below) is a good location. If you have a two- or three-column site, at the top of one of the Nav Column or Extra Column is another good location.

The Social Sharing bar is best suited to the bottom of the content in your Content Column. If you want to place it on all of your pages, drag it to the Socialize It! Sharing Sitewide Dot. If you use the Sticky sharing bar, it will appear on the left or right of the page, or at the top or bottom of the page (depending on which setting you choose).

Directions for Use
  • Drag the Social Block to the location you want it on your page. If you want it in one location on every page, drag it to a dot.
  • Click on the tab for the option you want to add.
  • Click to choose your option.
  • Click on Add Selected Social Media.

The Social Block opens a selector tool to allow you to choose social media options from one of four categories...

You must have set up Socialize It! to have access to X and Pinterest Follow buttons, sharing buttons, and destinations buttons. Click here for help setting up Socialize It!.

Adding a social media option to your page is as simple as dragging the Social Block to your page.

After dropping the Social Block where you want it, you'll immediately see the Social Media Selector overlay window.

If you do add any of the social media options to one or more Sitewide Dots, be sure to edit any pages where follows, sharing buttons and/or destinations buttons don't make sense. This includes your privacy policy page, disclaimer and earnings disclosure pages, no-such-url.html, C2 Thank You page and comment-form page template, and FBI! Thank You page template.

Click on the red symbol in the top left corner of the Sitewide Dot to hide the content, which will remove it from that page.
