Socialize It!
Social media marketing can result in solid traffic increases, if done correctly. So let's get you started doing it the right way...
There are many ways to use social media marketing to help your site. The TNT HQ has a Social Media series of articles to help you make the most of these opportunities. The link below will get you started...
Social Media Marketing Priorities
Socialize It! gives you an easy way to add the buttons of the most important social platforms to just about every page on your site. That gives your visitors many easy ways to share your site and spread the word.
And you can add a destinations bar that lets your visitors follow your social media pages and accounts.
Where and How Socialize It! Is Added
Socialize It!'s sharing bar can have up to seven social media buttons.
The destinations bar can also have up to seven social media buttons, although it's best not to spread yourself too thin with several social media accounts.
Important Note
You'll only be able to include the Messenger button on the sharing bar if you add a Facebook App ID, which connects your site to your Facebook account.
If you entered an App ID into the Facebook Commenting portion of Face It!, there's nothing for you to do. The Messenger button will be available in your Socialize It! bar.
If you did not enter one in Face It!, you will have to do that now (in Face It!) if you want the Messenger button to appear on the bar.
The sharing buttons can appear at the left or right edge of the page (Sharing Bar Sticky).
If you choose the Sharing Bar Regular or Sharing Bar Mini option, the buttons can appear wherever you want them, although the common location is at the end of the content. Why? After they read your content, some visitors will want to share it.
The Destinations button bar appears wherever you want it, although the most common location is the footer of the page.
Drop the Social Block onto the Socialize It! Sharing Sitewide Dot and select the sharing bar you prefer from the overlay. This puts the bar in the same location on every page of your site.
Drop the Social Block onto the Footer Sitewide Dot or one of the bottom navigation Sitewide Dots. Then select the destinations bar from the overlay to put the destinations buttons in that location on every page of your site.
There are some pages where you will not want to add the sharing bar (privacy policy, contact page, earnings disclaimer page, disclosure page, etc.). For those pages, click on the Sitewide Dot's red minus symbol to hide the sharing bar.
If you put the destinations bar in the footer of your site, it's fine to leave it on the pages listed above, if desired.
If you upload your pages, read this help for details on the tag and tag attributes to add to your pages or an SBI! Include.

Depending on the number of pages on your site, you'll see the button bar on all pages within 60-120 minutes (you may have to refresh a page to see the change).
Social Destinations
-
Paste in the URL (Facebook, YouTube) of your social media account if you want a button for it.
Or type/paste in the Handle -- X (formerly Twitter), Pinterest, Instagram -- if you want a button for that social media account. - Type or paste in the tooltip text for that button.
- Repeat for each social media account that you have.
-
If you use a social media platform not listed there, paste the URL into the Custom box's URL field, and give it a tooltip.
To add more than one, click on Add another custom destination, paste in the URL and add some hover text. - Click the Save button to save your button selections.
If you have a Facebook business page or a YouTube channel for your site, copy its URL in your browser. Paste it into the URL text field for that platform.
If you have an X (formerly Twitter), Pinterest or Instagram account, type or paste your handle (username) into the Handle text field for that platform.
Add some text for visitors to read when they hover over the button. Sample text is already there.
If you use a social platform not listed here, use the Custom box to add its URL and some hover text.
If you have more than one social account not listed there, click on Add another custom destination in the bottom right corner of the page.
When you're done, click Save to save your destination settings.
