Search It!

There are two versions of Search It!...

1) The Tutorial Version -- start with this version. It has tutorials that you may find to be useful reinforcement of parts of the Action Guide.

Each tutorial explains how to get the most out of its respective Search Type, also setting the context for how this search fits into the C T P M process.

To use the tutorial version, right-click on the link below and open Search It! in a new window, not a new tab...

https://searchit.sitesell.com

Click on the tutorials link in the second paragraph below the centered link in the middle of the window.

2) The Non-Tutorial Version -- Once you know Search It! well and no longer want to see the tutorials, switch to this version. There are no tutorial pages -- instead, you're sent directly to the results pages.

To use the non-tutorial version, click on the centered link.

The tutorial pages show you how to get the most out of each individual Search Type. So make the switch after 2 or 3 times through each.

Getting the Most Out of Search It!
Each DAY, Every Step of the Way

Take your time...

Read the help (including this important page)...

Get the feel of this tool. Start with the first Search Category, "Brainstorming" in the "----KEYWORDS----" section of STEP 1. Select that category's first "Search Type" in STEP 2... "SEMRush Keyword Tool."

Then enter a search term that you know (you're not trying to push the envelope yet, just get the feel for each Search Type and the kinds of results it delivers).

Next... work your way through each Search Type in the "Brainstorming" category, repeating the above.

Do the same for each of the 30 categories, steadily trying every Search Type that "belongs" to each category, such as "Competition, "Where Are the Keywords?," and so forth, all the way through the 30 categories.

Now that you know the tool... how does Search It! fit with the C T P M process, the 10 DAY Action Guide, Brainstorm It!, and the online help? That depends on where you are on the business-building pathway.

The following "where Search It! fits in" information is important. Search It! should not distract you from the core C T P M process. It should supplement when and where needed. And that will depend on what stage you're at in building your online business...

1) Online Business Novice -- just starting your journey?

Focus your time and energy on understanding and doing the 10 DAY process (clearly outlined, step-by-step, in the Action Guide). That is your primary goal.

Consider Search It! as a supplementary tool that you might use at certain times, especially helpful for brainstorming, finding a great domain name, and creating PREselling content.

But... it's critical not to get side-tracked or fall prey to over-zealous information collection or "paralysis by analysis."

Trust the C T P M process -- it's a logical, natural (and proven!) way to build a successful online business. Success with Solo Build It! or Solo Build It! for WP is really just a matter of "doing it!"

2) If you're beyond DAY 6 (say with 10+ pages built)...

Your business foundation is laid. Focus your efforts on building momentum. That means creating more and more PREselling content pages, properly optimized so they're found at the engines. It's the continued building of...

C T P M

Traffic (targeted visitors) builds...

PREselling starts to establish your "brand of one"...

Monetization begins!

Those relevant, high-value, information-packed content pages that open your visitors' minds to your credible "solutions" (i.e., your monetization offerings) are "where you're at."

And that means that the "Reference Library for Content" searches and reminders in the Back Links and Social Search categories are especially useful for you. Aside from those useful Search Types, though...

Right now, Search It! plays a supplementary role. Build your knowledge, blend with your passion, and you'll have no problems growing the necessary content at this stage.

3) Once your business-building foundation is well-established and your traffic is growing...

You know the process works! By this time, you'll have reviewed Search It! thoroughly (outlined above).

Use Search It! to get great ideas for more high-value PREselling content, to grow entire new monetization models, to do competitive research and stay a step ahead, and to become an influencer in your niche.

In short, use Search It! to enhance your already effective business-building efforts.

No matter what stage you're at...

Use the tutorials the first few times through all the Search Types. They're instructive, will "fit" each Search Type into the context of where you're at, and will give you good ideas for how to use each Search Type for best results.

And again, no matter what stage you're at...

Please do contribute at the "Supplemental Help Tools" forum in the Welcome category.

For future reference, we'll refer to a Search It! Search Category and Search Type combination in the following format...

Search Category (STEP 1) > Search Type (STEP 2)

For example...

Brainstorming > Thesaurus Synonym Generator

This refers to the "Thesaurus Synonym Generator" Search Type within the "Brainstorming" Search Category.

Now let's zoom in and see how Search It! fits into each DAY of the 10-DAY process... where each DAY builds upon the previous one to grow a genuine, solid business with profits and equity.

Special Note

Each of the 10 DAYs outlined below presents a tight summary of the process. As mentioned, if you're just starting out, that is your focus. Use Search It! judiciously.

We'll start with DAY 2.

DAY 2 -- Develop Your Best Site Concept

How will you recognize your "best Site Concept"? It will excite you and have solid profit potential. Think "passion" and "knowledge."

Find a niche that you can master -- there's a lot of room for more than one player in any niche, but you must do it well and position it so that you "own your space."

Already have a business (offline or on)? Think of how you'll position your site such that it maximizes the returns for your business.

Check out potential Site Concepts/positioning by using Brainstorm It! as explained in DAY 2 of the Action Guide. And use all the Search Types in the Keyword section's Brainstorming and Competition categories to get your niche just right...

... not too broad (a highly competitive, expensive battle)

... not too narrow (not enough market to sustain profits).

Brainstorming > Review all Search Types

Competition > Review all Search Types

Comparing Supply to Demand for your keywords points to Profitability. Your site blueprint is starting to take shape.

DAY 3 -- Brainstorm Profitable Topics

Brainstorm It! excels here. Do a complete brainstorm as outlined in DAY 3 of the Action Guide.

Find the few keywords that would be suitable for side-branching your brainstorms.

Supplement BI!'s brainstorm results with Search It!'s "Keyword Brainstorming"...

Brainstorming > Review all Search Types

Run through all its Search Types -- save the best words (in a separate file for now), along with relevant data. Next...

Check "Keyword Competition"...

Competition > Google Single Keyword SUPPLY

Competition > SiteSell Multiple Keyword SUPPLY

Note that the SiteSell Multiple Keyword SUPPLY is invaluable for bringing back SUPPLY data for all keywords, in a single stroke.

Now that you have a bunch of new keywords, keep the ones that...

Add those best new keywords, and related data, to Brainstorm It!'s Master Keyword List.

DAY 4 -- Plan Monetization Options

Just starting out?

If you think you want to be "an affiliate" or "do eBay" or "build a network marketing business" or "grow my local dentist practice," great!

But there are many more ways to convert C T P M. A diversified business is a bigger, more stable, growing business. Review the list of articles in Monetization HQ, but now investigate every monetization option...

https://mhq.sitesell.com

For some monetization ideas, use Search It!...

AdSense/Advertisers > Preview Google AdSense Ads

AdSense/Advertisers > Keywords Worth? (Google Ads Keyword Planner)

Affiliate > Find Affiliate Programs at Google

Goods and Services > Let eBay Help You

And the many other searches included in the MONETIZATION section.

DAY 5 -- Refine Your Site Concept and Register Your Domain Name

By now, your brainstorming, keyword research, comparing and weighing, monetization research and planning should have led you to a pretty good Site Concept. Your "VPP" ("Valuable PREselling Proposition") should be well-developed.

This unique positioning is one of your most important decisions. Everything, including your PREselling voice, follows from it.

Be specific... the nichier the better (except extremes).

By now, you should definitely have read Make Your Content PRESell! -- good PREselling is critical to your success. And you don't do that after you've written the content. You don't even do it during.

You plan it before you finalize and prepare what your content will be. Good PREselling means...

  1. Write to communicate.

  2. Develop your own "voice" with flair and substance.

  3. Uniquely position your site/business/self.

  4. Honestly convince people to trust and like you.

If you have not already done so, go to the InfoCenter in Site Central. Download and read Make Your Content PREsell! now.

Register your domain name.

Your domain name should...

Make it as short as possible, meaningful, classy, and you!

Time for some "NAME IT" Search Categories to help you with this...

Site Legalities > Trademark Check(s) (there are four of them)

Site Legalities > Search Brand Names

DAY 6 -- Build a Site That Gets the Click

Build a content site that both gets the click because your site is found at the search engines... and gets the "monetization click" as your content PREsells visitors.

Blend in a diversified portfolio of monetization models (for example, e-store selling digital or hard goods, Google AdSense ads, professional services, affiliate programs, network marketing leads, local business/services, finder's fees, etc.).

Use Search It! to help you build more and more content...

The Reference Library for Content contains an unparalleled digital collection of encyclopedias, archives, news sites and syndications.

Don't miss the important tutorials for the Reference Library -- do more than just pour words onto the Internet. Build content that PREsells.

In other words, develop trust and confidence in your pre-customer by delivering relevant, original, high-value information.

Note, too, that the special media search engines can provide some extra traffic for your site. In the ADVANCED SEARCH section...

Images - Video - Sounds > Try them all!

Later, use Search It! to watch for content thieves...

Site Legalities > Find Content Thieves I

Site Legalities > Find Content Thieves II

Site Legalities > Find Content Thieves III

Site Legalities > Find Image Thieves

And make sure you're not copying someone else's content...

Site Legalities > Are YOU a Content Thief?

DAY 7 -- Build Traffic Momentum

The SITE RESEARCH categories, Popularity, Vital Statistics, Similar/Related and Indexed Pages, all provide highly useful Search Types that supplement and augment. Be sure to review the tutorials associated with each Search Type.

And don't forget to build your own buzz. Use the Search Types in the SOCIAL SEARCH and ADVANCED SEARCH categories to find conversations you can get involved in.

Become a regular and build your personal brand. Use them, too, for competitive research. As always, see the tutorial for each Search Type.

DAY 8 -- Build Relationships... Deepen PREselling

A newsletter is the ultimate "reminder." Even if you merely send out a monthly "content update," stay in front of those who have enjoyed your site. Offer a subscription and publish a newsletter.

In addition to newsletters, consider Form Build It! (FBI!)... a powerful, versatile tool that has been used to monetize in a variety of ways.

Think about how you could use FBI! to monetize your business... generate leads for your network marketing business... send visitors to a real estate agent... cause visitors to contact you for information about the services you offer.

With FBI! in mind, review the Monetization HQ one more time...

https://mhq.sitesell.com

Then review all of Search It!'s "Monetization" Search Types, but pay special attention to...

Goods and Services > Let eBay Help You

Remember... these entrepreneurs are monetizing, for the exact Search Term you entered. Wow! Thousands of people working for you, giving away their secrets.

DAY 9 -- Know Your Visitors... Keep Getting Better

Now that traffic is starting, reporting tools let you truly know your visitor... and how your site is doing.

Review your Google Analytics stats and other information.

Keyword Searches reports -- for what keywords is your site being found?

Click-in and click-through analysis reports make it easy to monitor your site's traffic pulse.

By now, you'll be an accomplished user of Search It!.

You'll use Search Types such as Popularity, Vital Statistics, Similar/Related, Indexed Pages, and the BACK LINKS category in more advanced ways (explained in each Search Type's online tutorial, at the time you need it).

They're invaluable for two major reasons...

a) track how your site is doing/is perceived in the marketplace

b) watch your competitors, build new alliances, etc.

DAY 10 -- Monetize

Now, your site is ready to convert those ever-increasing numbers of PREsold visitors into income. How? By blending together your primary monetization model with a few others, in order to create a diverse, stable online business.

Add each income stream one at a time, weeks or months apart. Assess each one. Optimize it. Keep building content while you focus on building more targeted traffic for your primary monetizer.

Would you like to know how valuable certain keywords are (especially useful information if you're using Google AdSense as one of your income-generators)? This search would be helpful...

AdSense/Advertisers > Keywords Worth? (Google Ads Keyword Planner)

Bottom line about implementing your monetization plans?

Effective monetizing is a constantly evolving process. Periodically evaluate your monetization strategies to ensure that you're still in sync with the needs of your target audience.

And there you have it... the 10 DAY process gift-wrapped for you into a single article and all tied together with a nice big bow called "Search It!."

Search It! really does convert you into a business power surfer, no matter what stage you're at. If you're early in the C T P M process, use it wisely -- be careful not to get distracted from the 10 DAY process outlined in the Action Guide.

The Guide works, so don't stray off a path that's proven true.

Bottom line -- realize the full potential of the Web!

Final Tip: As you gain in experience... if you're not leaving Search It! open on your screen and doing at least 5 searches per day... force yourself to, until it's a habit.

The Web is the most amazing collection of information in the history of the world. If you're not tapping into it, you're missing out.

Enjoy... and profit. And share...
